In January 2025, Eagle Police found a prostitution operation involving human trafficking at Head to Toe Massage Therapy, in the 200 block of S. Eagle Rd in the 200 block of E. Riverside Dr. Packham and Shi, both 68, were arrested on multiple felony charges, including human sex trafficking, interstate trafficking in commercial sexual activity, involvement in aggravated identity theft and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Thirty eight year old Doris Li was also charged with maintaining a house of prostitution.

High-Speed Pursuit Ending Near Overland/Entertainment Rd in Boise

Vista Rd. It was concluded in a short pursuit where the driver, 32 year old Jessicah Buchanan did not halt. After identifying Buchanan, he was taken into custody and later booked into the Ada County Jail for fleeing and eluding a police officer as a felony, as well as possession of a controlled substance as a misdemeanor.

Multiple felony charges, including sexual battery of a minor, injury to a child, aggravated assault, use of a deadly weapon during a felony, among others. Patania has been involved with local churches and has involvement with foster youth, which he raised concerns over additional victims. After the Ada county arrests, detectives went to his home to search for evidence.

Patania is currently in Ada County Jail posting a bail of $1 million. If convicted, he could be sentenced to heavy prison time and be required to be registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Juvenile Involved in Meridian Stabbing

It happened on the 1800 block of W. Waltman St. on November 14, 2024 at approximately 6:11 p.m. when Meridian Police arrived on a reported stabbing, took the suspect, identified as a 15-year-old male at his residence into custody. The victim was transported by local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
